Wednesday, 28 April 2021 – Tokyo Olympics should be cancelled

Good evening from Tokyo under the third time state of emergency.
Day 4.

In Japan, the outbreak of infection with the N501Y variant virus is spreading rapidly in the big cities. Medical resources in Tokyo will soon be tight. The collapse of healthcare in Tokyo is close at hand. Even in this situation, Thomas Bach, the president of the IOC, is trying to block any cancellation of the Olympics by Japan. In Japan, opposition party leaders and opinion leaders have already called for the cancellation of the Olympics. Doctors are also calling for the Olympics to be cancelled.

Today, the leader of the Government’s Corona response team, Dr. Omi, also stated that it’s time to rethink of the hosting the Olympics. However, the incompetent PM Suga and his Government are trying to push ahead the Olympics. And the irresponsible IOC and Thomas Bach will never allow the cancellation of the Olympics by Japan. People in Japan are calling for the Olympics to be cancelled and people are hating very strongly against the IOC, especially Thomas Bach. SNS in Japan is full of anger, hatred and strong language against Thomas Bach.

I think I should add this.

From tomorrow 29 April to 5 May, Japan will be on public holidays. There is a concentration of national holidays during this time. Many people are planning to go out for recreation and travel. The Government and the Prefectural Governors ask that people will stay home and not go out during the holidays. However, there are many people who don’t listen to the words of the Government, which is trying to force on the Olympics. Suga will lose massively in the next national election, again.

Today’s photos are Yama-tsutsuji (Rhododendron kaempferi). The small red flowers look like flames and are very passionate. I took these photos on the 1st of April.
Today in Tokyo it was a lovely warm day.

Have a nice dream. Good night.

Wear a mask and wash your hands.
