Good evening from Tokyo under the state of emergency.
Day 5.

Tomorrow, 13 January, the state of emergency will be declared again in Osaka, Hyogo, Kyoto, Aichi, Gifu, Fukuoka and Tochigi, following the Tokyo Metropolitan area. It’s not a lockdown. The restrictions are more relaxed than last time, but commercial activity has been hit very hard. Shops, restaurants, transport and travel businesses will be seriously damaged. In Japan, medical resources are getting scarce. The best we can do is to wear masks, wash our hands, avoid contact with people, and try to prevent infection.

The heavy snowfall on the Sea of Japan side has become calm. However, many areas are in a mess as the snow could not be cleared. There was a forecast for snow in Tokyo, but I didn’t see any snow!

It hasn’t snowed but it’s still very cold in Tokyo tonight. Even my heart is cold because so many bad things happen. I wish to warm my heart by remembering the rose of May. I miss May!

Wear a mask and wash your hands.
Stay safe and healthy πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜·πŸ––πŸ––πŸ––πŸ––πŸ––
