Sunday, 18 April 2021 – Fugenzo, the double cherry blossoms in a small park

Good evening from Tokyo, where the Semi-emergency Spread Prevention Measures have been applied.
Day 7.

Against the forecast, it was a clear and sunny day from this morning. However, on a Sunday, a lot of people come to the park. Nowadays, in this corona pandemic situation, I feel a certain tiredness in the park on weekends when there are lots of people. For this reason I can’t take photos with relaxing, and I have to be on my guard more careful where I take a break. So, today I stayed at home. Recently I avoid weekends and national holidays, and choose to go for a walk in the park early morning or early evening on weekdays. Next week it seems that the weather will be fine. Have the roses started to bloom in the rose garden in the big park? Are the double cherry blossoms still in bloom? Have the hydrangeas produced any buds? I think I can go to the big park which has rose gardens next week.

I post here 10 photos of the double cherry blossoms in a small park near my house. This is Fugenzou, one of the last varieties among the cherry blossoms to bloom. It looks like that I can enjoy the Fugenzo flowers for a while longer. I took these photos on 15 April.
