Friday, 8 October 2021 – Tokyo is almost summer

Good morning and good evening from Tokyo.

In the 20th century, it was never thought that, even in October, the daytime temperatures in Tokyo were almost summer-like. About 10 or 20 years ago, September was like this, almost summer-like. But now, September is just summer. In the last century, September was already autumn, and in those days, October was the deeply autumnal and cold season. The seasons have shifted so much in just 20 or 30 years, so how will they change in the next 20 years? Maybe autumn and winter will disappear from Tokyo.

I took my first walk to the temple for a very long time to check the autumn colours. During the walk, it was quite hot, so I was sure that the leaves would not have changed their colours yet. It was almost summer!

Perhaps the trees in the temple will not be so beautiful colours again this year. Just like last autumn. Some of the leaves had begun to change colour. But they were not in good condition.

Good morning. Good night.
Have a nice day. Beautiful dreams!

Wear a mask and wash your hands.
Stay safe and healthy ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜ท๐Ÿ––๐Ÿ––๐Ÿ––๐Ÿ––๐Ÿ––
