Tuesday, 7 September 2021 – My spring memories of cherry blossoms

Good evening from Tokyo under the fourth time state of emergency.
Day 58.

Suddenly, Tokyo has changed from midsummer to autumn. Last week it was too hot almost to death. This week it’s too cool to keep up. I wish that the climate clock would at just stop of the comfortable temperatures.

Some musicians can enter Japan to give concerts. This week, Paavo JΓ€rvi conducted NHK Symphony Orchestra in Tokyo. On the other hand, there are many musicians who had to cancell their tours in Japan. The Hagen Quartet’s Japan tour has been cancelled. They were scheduled to perform Schumann and other works for Toppan Hall’s very important project next month. This project itself was cancelled.

Today I post my spring memories of cherry blossoms.
These are the flowers of the Somei-yoshino Cherry blossoms.
I took these on 26 March.

Wear a mask and wash your hands.
Stay safe and healthy πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜·πŸ––πŸ––πŸ––πŸ––πŸ––
