Friday, 20 August 2021 – Mejiro (white-eyes) feeding the flowers of the Kawazu-zakura cherry blossoms

Good evening from Tokyo under the fourth time state of emergency.
Day 40.

The situation in Japan is now as urgent as ever because of the Delta variant virus. The atmosphere of the air and the colours of the sky are changing to the autumn ones. But having said that, it’s still very hot on a sunny day like today. I’m feeling the midsummer’s languidness. By doing my work, I use up all my body energy that I can use in a day. If the weather doesn’t get more cooler, I won’t be able to do anything actively. The weather forecast for this weekend is not good and the situation with the spread of the Delta variant virus is scary, so I want to keep my home, with listening to music and watching films.

Today I post some early spring photos again. The first one I posted on Instagram on 20 February as my 4000th post to instagram ( https://www.instagram.com/p/CLhIS5-J5NV/ ). I repost it. And the next six photos are of the same bird, which I didn’t use in my past posts. These are photos of Mejiro (white-eyes) feeding the flowers of the Kawazu-zakura cherry blossoms.

Good night. Have a beautiful dream!
Although Tokyo is already in the morning glow.

Wear a mask and wash your hands.
Stay safe and healthy πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜·πŸ––πŸ––πŸ––πŸ––πŸ––
