Monday, 28 June 2021 – Finally, today I got my first vaccination! (2)

Good evening from Tokyo, where the second time Semi-emergency Spread Prevention Measures have been applied.
Day 8.

Today the sky was blue since this morning. I couldn’t believe it’s the rainy season, the weather was almost like the middle of the summer. However, in the night, the rain started to fall.

Finally, today I got my first vaccination against Covid-19 in my own doctor’s clinic. My doctor used the Pfizer vaccine. I’ll receive my second shot 3 weeks later. In actual fact, I was vaccinated by an old skilled nurse. She is my favourite because always her skill with the needle of injection is really great. I could feel relaxed and comfortable because of the atmosphere in the small, quiet clinic. I have a little bit of a health concern, and also I’ve had an allergic anaphylactic reaction when I was a teenager, so I was worried before the vaccination. However, there was no problem at all.

The total number of vaccinations in Japan has reached over 40 million. Some news reports said that the number of serious cases among the elderly is decreasing. It’s said this is because the number of vaccinated elderly people has increased.

People who received at least one shot of the vaccine in Japan
As of 27 June: 27,175,489 people
(21.6% of the total population of 125.47 million on 1 June)

Good night. Have a nice dream.

Wear a mask and wash your hands.
Stay safe and healthy πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜·πŸ––πŸ––πŸ––πŸ––πŸ––
