Monday, 6 September 2021 – Chopin’s bust on the campus of the Tokyo University of the Arts (Geidai)

Good evening from Tokyo under the fourth time state of emergency.
Day 57.

In Tokyo, the days have been cold with grey skies. It’s much better than the extreme heat. However, the quick change in temperature makes my body exhausted.

I just remembered that I haven’t yet posted on any of my SNS or blogs some of the photos that I took at the University of the Arts (Geidai) in Ueno in July. I also haven’t yet edited the photos of fortepiano and Rachmaninov’s chair that I took at Toppan Hall. I’d like to post these this week.

Today I’d like to share photos of Chopin’s bust on the campus of the Tokyo University of the Arts. It’s wonderful gift from Poland to Japan.
I really wish that the Chopin Competition in October will be a success!

The description of this bust is as follows.
A bust of Chopin in “Geidai” Tokyo University of the Arts.
In 2010, the Embassy of Poland in Tokyo Japan presented it to Geidai as a Memory of the 200th Anniversary of Chopin’s Birth.
