Sunday, 16 May 2021 – Music, Schumann, J.S.Bach, Gould, British mystery, tasty coffee and beautiful flowers
Good evening from Tokyo under the third time state of emergency.
Day 22.
From tomorrow, it’ll start that the appointments for the mass vaccination programme for the elderly by the Self-Defence Forces. As ever, there is a lot of confusion about the vaccination programme. However, I feel the signs of some enthusiastic mood in society, which is to want completing the vaccination of 36 million elderly by the end of July. These signs give me and our society some hope. If the elderly’s vaccination were done earlier, the younger generation can get vaccine shots sooner.
According to the forecast, it was seemed not good that the weather in Tokyo this weekend, but the actually weather was a little nice. Not too hot, not too cool, not too humid. It also didn’t rain. Even there were times when the blue sky appeared. The rainy season has started in the south part of the Japanese Archipelago. It’s earlier than usual. The rainy season isn’t so bad, if it’s not too hot. However, the rainy season in Tokyo is usually crazy humid and terrible hot. How about this year?
Today I didn’t go out and stayed at home all day, listening to Schumann, watching British mystery dramas and so on. I waited all day for the Amazon delivery person with my new coffee beans to come. Finally, late in the evening, it arrived. I haven’t bought that coffee beans ever. This time is my first order of it. As soon as I received it, I grinded the beans and made a cup of coffee. Tasty. Now I’m writing this while listening to J.S.Bach’s CD of my most favourite pianist Glenn Gould. I post here some photos of the roses I shot in the park last Friday. Music, Schumann, J.S.Bach, Gould, British mystery, tasty coffee and beautiful flowers. It was a lovely peaceful Sunday. I hope that next week will be better like today too.
Have a nice dream. Good night.
I’ll have another cup of delicious coffee!
Wear a mask and wash your hands.
Stay safe and healthy ππ·πππππ
