Good morning from Tokyo. The sky is completely pure white. It’s drizzling. I read the below opinions on social media. It is that the climate patterns in Japan may be changing because of global warming. So it may be that there are appearing the long rainy seasons some recently years like the southern countries far from Japan. This might be a climatic change, not be an abnormal weather.
Corona. Yesterday’s new cases were 598 across the country.
The Metropolitan areas. Tokyo 131, Kanagawa 14, Saitama 23, Chiba 24.
Western Japan. Osaka 87, Kyoto 20.
Chubu area. Aichi 76.
Kyushu area. Fukuoka 49, Kumamoto 33.
What’s going on in Aichi?
This morning’s Schumann. I chose one disc from my favorite Pianist Christoph Eschenbach’s CD BOX. He plays Schumann’s Kindeszenen op. 15. Already a long time has passed since he shifted focus from pianist to conductor as his activities. However, still now he is my favorite pianist, and of course he is my favorite conductor. He is a great performer and interpreter of the Robert Schumann’s works in our times.
