Saturday, 25 June 2022 – Summer might be coming
The Japan Meteorological Agency hasn’t officially announced the end of the rainy season yet. However, I think the summer in Tokyo has already started.
Today, Japan was covered by extraordinary heatwaves. The highest temperature in the heart of Tokyo was 34.9 °C, which is unusually hot for June. In Isesaki, Gunma Prefecture, the temperature was recorded at 40.2 °C. Even in mid-summer it never gets like this.
