Thursday, 7 October 2021 – A strong earthquake struck Tokyo

Good morning and good evening from Tokyo after the state of emergency has been completely lifted.
Day 7.

It is the last day to count the number of days in this style.

72% of all people living in Japan have received at least one dose of vaccine against Covid-19. The next wave of infection is predicted to come to Japan in winter. But until then, the Covid-19 situation will be mild, the experts say. Many of the vaccine sites set up by the local government for mass vaccination will soon be closed. The Japanese Government and the media are promoting the need to rush vaccination to people who haven’t yet completed it.

A strong earthquake struck Tokyo and neighbouring areas at late night. In Tokyo, the shaking was on a scale comparable to the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011. But it didn’t shake for as long as that earthquake. It also shook in a very different way. According to the news media, there is some minor damage in many areas, but not severe enough to destroy normal life. Don’t worry.

I have no new photos because I haven’t gone out to take them. I post the photos of the roses from May.

Good morning. Good night.
Have a nice day. Beautiful dreams!

Wear a mask and wash your hands.
Stay safe and healthy πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜·πŸ––πŸ––πŸ––πŸ––πŸ––
