Last evening, the state of emergency was declared in Japan for the Tokyo Metropolitan area, which includes Tokyo, Kanagawa, Saitama and Chiba. From today, Tokyo is under the state of emergency again. It’s the second time.
Last spring, when the state of emergency was declared for the first time, there was no lockdown in Japan. This time, the state of emergency will be more moderate than the last time.
