Saturday, 11 September 2021 – Lovely flowers from early spring

Good evening from Tokyo under the fourth time state of emergency.
Day 62.

The temperature in Tokyo is back to normal for the season at last. It’s been cold for the last 10 days, which doesn’t suit the end of summer, but today was humid and hot after a long time.

The number of new infections in Tokyo is down from when the Olympics and Paralympics were held, but it still continues to increase by over 1,000 new cases every day. About 88% of people over age 65 have completed two doses of the vaccine. About 50% of the total population has received 2 doses of vaccine and about 60% have received at least one dose. In Japan, the start of vaccination was slow, and then, there were major delays in vaccination progress during July and August due to lack of vaccine. However, this situation seems to have been improved since the end of August. This time’s state of emergency has been extended a few times. The new deadline is 30 September.

Today I post some photos of the lovely flowers from early spring.
I captured them on 11 March 2021.

Good night. Have a wonderful weekend!
(But Tokyo is almost morninig…)

Wear a mask and wash your hands.
Stay safe and healthy πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜·πŸ––πŸ––πŸ––πŸ––πŸ––
