Monday, 16 August 2021 – Happy yellow Acacia baileyana flowers

Good evening from Tokyo under the fourth time state of emergency.
Day 36.

Like yesterday, today was also a chilly day. The rain didn’t fall much. Tomorrow, the forecast is for heavy rain in Kyushu area again. In Kyushu area, there has already been a massive damage caused by heavy rain. It’s possible that the damage will be worse there.

Today, the Japanese Government has decided to re-extend the state of emergency now in force in 6 prefectures, and in addition to these, it will also declare the state of emergency in 7 new prefectures. The new date for the declaration is until 12 September. In Tokyo and neighbouring prefectures – Kanagawa, Saitama, Chiba and Ibaraki – there are many patients who have been left at home, who can’t enter hospitals or Corona care facilities because the medical system has collapsed. From these people, there have been deaths.

There is no good news in Japan. The cool air days will be over. The forecasters said that the heat wave will be back again this weekend.

Well, recently I’ve posted some spring photos, but today I’d like to go back a little more in time and post some photos from Yoyogi Park in early spring. The flowers on a beautiful Saturday under a lovely blue sky. Happy yellow Acacia baileyana flowers! I shot them on 20 February.

Good night. Have a nice dream.

Wear a mask and wash your hands.
Stay safe and healthy πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜·πŸ––πŸ––πŸ––πŸ––πŸ––
