Saturday, 1 May 2021 – A Saturday of a earthquake and a thunderstorm

These roses were shot on 20 May 2019.

Good evening from Tokyo under the third time state of emergency.
Day 7.

Today was a Saturday of a earthquake and a thunderstorm. In the midmorning there was a big earthquake in Tohoku region. I felt the vibration in Tokyo, it was small. However, it continued for a little longer. In the early evening, a heavy thunderstorm came to Tokyo. The roaring of thunder was heard from outside the window. Japan is now on consecutive holidays. If the weather is bad, people will have to stay at home. The storm was perhaps a better precaution against this pandemic.

Before Corona, during these May holidays, I used to go to the annual music festival called La Folle JournΓ©e, which was held at the huge conference centre in Yurakucho. I spent the whole day there, eating, drinking and listening to music. It was a fun and lovely music festival. Even in 2011, after the Great East Japan Earthquake, this festival was not cancelled. But last year and this year, it was stopped. Now, for the third time under the state of emergency, many amusement facilities, many restaurants, museums and concert halls are closed.

Soon I want to go and see how it goes in the rose garden in the park. How about the weather next week? Today I organised my 2019 photos. I found many roses photos in my May folder. I share them with you all.

Have a beautiful Sunday!

Wear a mask and wash your hands.
Stay safe and healthy πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜·πŸ––πŸ––πŸ––πŸ––πŸ––
