Monday, 26 April 2021 – I gave them another name, ‘nostalgia’

Good evening from Tokyo under the third time state of emergency.
Day 2.

It was comfortable and pleasant today. Rather cold for this season, although much better than the muggy hot. Every year at this season, I wish that these days of pleasant air, wind and calm sunshine would last forever. That wish will never come true. Soon it will be humid and hot as hell in Tokyo.

Yesterday, the state of emergency was declared for the third time in Tokyo, and the Tokyo Governor gave a message to the people to stay home as much as possible. However, even now many companies have not allowed their employees on remote working even though they can. There were some reports that today’s commuter trains were more crowded than last week.

Today’s photos are the flowers of the white clover and the red clover. These flowers are not uncommon. So I always forget to take their photos. In my distant childhood, I used to play and roll around in the fields with my best friends, where these flowers were in bloom. They are a treasury of sweet memories. If I gave them another name, ‘nostalgia’ might be suitable.
