Sunday, 25 April 2021 – A message from the people to the LDP
Good evening from Tokyo under the third time state of emergency.
Day 1.
I wrote ‘Good evening’, but it’s almost morning. I write this post as a diary of 25 April. The air is so fresh and pleasant so I can take a nap as long as I like. I adore naps. I took too long a nap today so almost the whole of Sunday disappeared somewhere. I listened to many recordings of Schumann by my favourite pianist Alfred Cortot after awaking from my nap. It’s not bad day as a Sunday which was requested to stay home by the Government and the Tokyo Governor. Naturally, I could have freely gone out in the neighbourhood or to the park, but I haven’t felt like to do that.
Due to the rapid spread of the variant virus, the medical system in Kansai area including Osaka has collapsed. It’s a very critical situation. I wrote in yesterday’s post that people in Japan are very angry with the Government, the Cabinet and the PM. Today, in the first 3 national elections since Suga became PM, the ruling party LDP lost all the elections. So to speak, this is a message from the people to the LDP. Tonight, SNS in Japan created a great sensation by this news.
Today’s photos are of a ladybird. I took these photos on a walk yesterday. I chanced on this ladybird while I was taking photos of the beautiful lavender flowers. It’s a sign of hope, I believe.
Have a nice dream. Good night.
Wear a mask and wash your hands.
Stay safe and healthy ππ·πππππ
