Saturday, 24 April 2021 – I need Zen

Good evening from Tokyo, where the Semi-emergency Spread Prevention Measures have been applied.
Day 13 and the last day.

Tomorrow the Government will declare for the third time state of emergency in Tokyo, Osaka, Hyogo and Kyoto. Today, people all over Japan are very angry with the Government. More than one year since the beginning of the Corona pandemic, the reason why Japan has been unable to stop the spread of the pandemic, is because of the misgovernment of politicians who have put a slight on science-based measures.

This time the state of emergency is ad hoc basis and without scientific evidences, it “requests” the various industries to “exercise restraint”. Many people will suffer huge economic damage as a result. The Government and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government say they will cover the losses, but the amount is too low to cover the losses. Some people say that the Government is just posing now to declare the state of emergency in order to hold the Olympics. Voices calling for the Olympics to be cancelled are growing louder and louder in Japan. The Olympics definitely must be cancelled.

A lot of people are angry. I’m also angry. What I need now is to take a deep breath and calm down. I need Zen.

Today’s photos are banksia roses again. I took these photos on my walk today. This rose bush is in a dimly lit area. They were blooming in darkness and in silence, without anyone seeing them (although I was seeing). It is Zen. And it is just like Schumann world.

Have a nice dream. Good night.
And have a beautiful Sunday.

Wear a mask and wash your hands.
Stay safe and healthy πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜·πŸ––πŸ––πŸ––πŸ––πŸ––
