Tuesday, 20 April 2021 – Even in a pandemic world, the beautiful season comes again

Good evening from Tokyo, where the Semi-emergency Spread Prevention Measures have been applied.
Day 9.

The third state of emergency is expected to be declared in Tokyo, Osaka and Hyogo (which has Kobe). There are signs of an explosive increase in the number of extremely infectious variant virus type N501Y. The medical crisis in Osaka is already on a disaster level, and the medical system in Tokyo is straining its resources.

Today in Tokyo was like early summer. Brilliant sunshine, clear blue sky and a fresh breeze with low humidity. Even in a pandemic world, the beautiful season comes again. I went to the park in the early evening. The park was completely covered in shining green.

The Yae-zakura (double-flowered cherry blossoms) had almost gone, but there were still some big trees with many flowers on. Over the flowers, the moon was shining in the blue sky. It was fantastic. The scene was like Schumann’s music. The plum trees were filled with young green fruits.

The rose garden was still a sea of buds, but between those waves only a few flowers were beginning to bloom, like one here and another there. According to the forecast, Wednesday and Thursday will be much hotter than today, with temperatures of late May or early June. I expect that many more flowers will bloom in the sea of roses.

Have a nice dream. Good night.

Wear a mask and wash your hands.
Stay safe and healthy πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜·πŸ––πŸ––πŸ––πŸ––πŸ––
