Monday, 29 March 2021 – The storm swept the cherry blossoms, their petals were scattered
Good evening from Tokyo after the second state of emergency was lifted.
Day 8 after the lifting.
It was stormy this morning until near daybreak. However, it cleared away in the morning and the daytime was almost like a beautiful May. The storm swept the cherry blossoms, their petals were scattered. And yet they were still just after over the full bloom. I could see splendid the view of flowers. I wanted to write about Hanami (cherry‐blossom viewing) in Japan today, but I don’t have the time for that. Tomorrow I want to get up very early and go to the park to take more cherry blossoms photos. So I’m going to bed now.
I post here some photos of the cherry blossoms which I took on my evening walk today. In the dusk light and shadows, the cherry blossoms were glowing calmly. This is familiar landscape to me since I was a child. But I never get weary of looking at this every year. I think the cherry blossoms will fall completely in a few days.
Have a nice dream. Good night.
Wear a mask and wash your hands.
Stay safe and healthy 😊😷🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖
