Things that look the same but are not the same

I don’t usually repost replies to my SNS followers here. But this was an interesting conversation, so I want to repost my replies here.

My follower in Hong Kong asked me: I gotta ask since you seem to see so many sakura? Does it ever get boring or never?

My replies are below.

If the same flowers stay in bloom for so long, I might get bored. Most cherry blossoms fall quickly and the flowers change their appearance every day, so I have to hurry to see them while they are still beautiful.

By the way, you didn’t ask, but I’ll answer, I have more than 150 CDs (I don’t know the exact number) each of Schubert’s last symphony D944 and Schumann’s Piano Concerto op. 54. I never get bored with them.
It’s the same (for me).

There are things that look the same but are not the same. People never get bored with these things and there is always something new and different to discover. Even small details of difference are new. And discovering them is fun😊

In Tokyo, the season of somei-yoshino cherry blossom, commonly known as sakura (桜/櫻), is coming to an end, but the very gorgeous yae-zakura (八重桜/八重櫻) cherry blossom have begun to bloom🌸🌸🌸
This yae-zakura was shot yesterday.
