Wrong season Satsuki flowers – Wednesday, 11 December 2024
The leaves of the satsuki (Rhododendron indicum) trees, which usually flower in early summer, have turned red. While the leaves are changing colour, they’re also flowering a lot, even though it’s December. The season is wrong. (photos: 9 & 11 Dec)
